Yesterday we traveled down to our site, settled into our bunks and then went to dinner as a team.  It was a good evening together.  After we took a walk along the waterway near Venice Beach.  What a contrast between "our neighborhood" and this one, not far away.

This morning our co-team arrived.  A wonderful youth team of 9.  For those of you praying for my eating on the trip--two of my team members are eating vegan with me.  When the other team arrived--2 more vegan friends!!!

We had our training, went on a prayer walk, and then some team building-both teams- activities.  We will have worship this afternoon and then chores to prepare for the kids tomorrow.
